The sundial set off by simple planting of variegated iris and an edging of lavender.
The Dutch wall was built to give a dry stone appearance and was planted with a mix of dianthus, thyme, thrift and aubretia.
The purple leaved Heuchera 'Plum Pudding' provides a contrast in foliage colour and compliments the purple flowering salvias.
The new perennial border in May, planted with cottage garden favourites – Delphineums, Salvias and Scabious.
A curved path runs along the western edge of the garden and is planted with perennials in the shelter of the wall. A sheltered seating area is provided off the main path.
