The British Council
Selected to work on one of the Spaces In Between projects, promoted
by the British Council working closely with Brussels 2000 on the
theme of the city. This project at an accommodation centre for
those seeking asylum in Belgium required the provision of a stimulating
and practical external space for the adolescents.
Carlisle Hospital - N.H.S Estates
Sketch designs for courtyards and roof gardens providing therapeutic
garden spaces within the new hospital complex.
Atlantic Quay, Glasgow - Glasgow and Oriental
High quality courtyard and roof gardens within prestigious office
complex on Glasgow's waterfront. Interior planting design for
atrium.
Walled Garden, Formakin Estate, Glasgow
Winning design for The Sunday Times Garden Design Competition

Glenbrae Children's Centre, Greenock - Inverclyde Council
Improvements to existing nursery school grounds including play
area with pictorial safety surfacing design and, a sensory garden.
Archbishop Cranmer Primary School, Leeds
Leeds Metropolitan University Community Design Unit
Report and master plan on school grounds development. Proposals
explored both vehicle and pedestrian circulation, additional car
parking, playground seating areas and planting.
Quarrier Park, Greenock - Inverclyde Council
Design for a new public park incorporating a bridge, river flood
prevention and community artworks with artist George Wylie.
Calderglen to Langlands Path, East Kilbride
Feasibility study & design for a 3 km riverside path. Also
boardwalk & protection works to a lowland raised peat bog.
Received High Commendation in the Scottish Environmental Regeneration
Awards 1996.
Kelburn Terrace, Port Glasgow - Inverclyde Council
Major refurbishment to interwar housing carried out over 3 phases
requiring the redesign of communal back courts, play areas and
streetscape improvements.

Replanting of avenue trees in Greenock's west end Conservation
Area.
M8 Extension, Edinburgh - Scottish Office
Landscape analysis, motorway planting design and creation of new
habitats for badgers and great created newts.
