Helen Taylor has been working in collaboration with David James of Olicana Mosaics to introduce individual, hand-crafted and site specific artworks. They have recently completed a private garden in the Arts and Crafts style. 3 individual cobble mosaics have been designed and made by David, the designs inspired by architectural details from the house interior and the cobbles selected to link with the natural stone flags and reclaimed setts in the paths and paving. The garden opening 20 June 2009 was featured in the Ilkley Gazette.

Helen Taylor and David James have also been appointed by the Menston in Bloom Committee to prepare design ideas for the Menston Gateways Project, looking at the identity of the village; signage, materials and planting opportunities.

Helen's planting design at Abbeydale Retirement Home in Ilkley received two Gold Awards this summer for the prestigious Ilkley and Yorkshire in Bloom Awards 2009.

The judges commended the 'sensitively planted' area below mature trees designed by Helen and the 'scores of baskets, containers and flower beds awash with colour'. (Ilkley Gazette, Sept 2009)
